Join us as we celebrate Pride, community, and belonging at Washington County Pride Day! As a Free Mom Hugs volunteer, you'll offer hugs, high-fives, fist bumps, and words of encouragement to LGBTQIA+ individuals, their families, friends, and allies.
For many attendees, a hug is more than a hug—it’s a reminder that they are seen, accepted, and loved exactly as they are. Your presence helps create a welcoming, affirming space where everyone can feel safe, valued, and celebrated.
No special experience is needed—just a caring heart, a friendly smile, and a commitment to supporting others. All volunteers must be registered Free Mom Hugs volunteers prior to signing up for the event.

In Support of Free Mom Hugs
Free Mom Hugs is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that works to empower the world to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community through visibility, education and conversation. Born of one Oklahoma mom’s simple act of wearing a homemade Free Mom Hugs button to a Pride festival, today Free Mom Hugs has more than 50,000 volunteers, chapters in all 50 states, and affiliate chapters around the world.
Free Mom Hugs volunteers give hugs and go beyond the hug, too. Our volunteers give hugs at events and other gatherings and further support and affirm LGBTQIA+ individuals through public education and outreach. Free Mom Hugs actively partners with brands, companies and organizations to support our chapters and initiatives including chapter programs, events and education.
All donations are made to Free Mom Hugs, a national nonprofit organization, and may be used to support local, regional, or national programming.
