Join Free Mom Hugs at Montgomery County’s largest indoor LGBTQIA+ vendor market and craft fair! Help out at our information table & hugging booth while patrons and shoppers peruse through hidden gems and unique crafts made by BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ owned businesses. Each month the MoCo Pride Center has a rotating cast of vendors and invites their shoppers to stay for crafting and skills workshops. This month’s featured vendor is Kin & Tsugi Craft Club who will be hosting a free session called “Linocutting the Deck,” a tarot-themed linocut and block printing workshop. At the MoCo Pride Center’s How Bazaar! Vendor Market & Craft Fair, you never know what you’re going to get, so don’t be afraid to BE BIZARRE! (The site has an elevator. Additional accessibility Information can be found on their website: https://www.mocopridefamily.org/pride-center-home. Please bring your own chair. The MoCo Pride Center is walking distance from the Bethesda Metro Station on the Red Line.)

In Support of Free Mom Hugs
Free Mom Hugs is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that works to empower the world to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community through visibility, education and conversation. Born of one Oklahoma mom’s simple act of wearing a homemade Free Mom Hugs button to a Pride festival, today Free Mom Hugs has more than 50,000 volunteers, chapters in all 50 states, and affiliate chapters around the world.
Free Mom Hugs volunteers give hugs and go beyond the hug, too. Our volunteers give hugs at events and other gatherings and further support and affirm LGBTQIA+ individuals through public education and outreach. Free Mom Hugs actively partners with brands, companies and organizations to support our chapters and initiatives including chapter programs, events and education.
All donations are made to Free Mom Hugs, a national nonprofit organization, and may be used to support local, regional, or national programming.
