Join us Sunday, November 8 for a crafternoon of crafting, community, and giving a damn.
We’ll be making pocket Hugs, friendship bracelets, painted rocks, and beaded pins for Free Mom Hugs Maryland to share at upcoming events, spreading a little extra love, affirmation, and support to the LGBTQ+ community.
Whether you’re a longtime volunteer, curious about getting involved, or just looking for an afternoon of crafting with good humans, there’s a seat for you.
No cost. No experience necessary. All supplies provided. Just show up, make some things, and help spread a little love.

In Support of Free Mom Hugs
Free Mom Hugs is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that works to empower the world to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community through visibility, education and conversation. Born of one Oklahoma mom’s simple act of wearing a homemade Free Mom Hugs button to a Pride festival, today Free Mom Hugs has more than 50,000 volunteers, chapters in all 50 states, and affiliate chapters around the world.
Free Mom Hugs volunteers give hugs and go beyond the hug, too. Our volunteers give hugs at events and other gatherings and further support and affirm LGBTQIA+ individuals through public education and outreach. Free Mom Hugs actively partners with brands, companies and organizations to support our chapters and initiatives including chapter programs, events and education.
All donations are made to Free Mom Hugs, a national nonprofit organization, and may be used to support local, regional, or national programming.
