Free Mom Hugs will have huggers at entrance doors for the Detroit Pistons Pride Night 2025. The game starts at 7:00 and volunteers will need to arrive at Little Caesar's Arena no later than 4:45. We are limited to 20 attendees from FMH for this game, so this is a first-come, first-served volunteer opportunity! Once we have all of our volunteers represented, information on parking and how to get into the arena will be shared via Email.
Keep in mind, that huggers will need to be able to man their assigned entry door through at least the first quarter of game play and then you'll be free to watch the game.

Free Mom Hugs is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that works to empower the world to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community through visibility, education and conversation. Born of one Oklahoma mom’s simple act of wearing a homemade Free Mom Hugs button to a Pride festival, today Free Mom Hugs has more than 50,000 volunteers, chapters in all 50 states, and affiliate chapters around the world.


Free Mom Hugs volunteers give hugs and go beyond the hug, too. Our volunteers give hugs at events and other gatherings and further support and affirm LGBTQIA+ individuals through public education and outreach. Free Mom Hugs actively partners with brands, companies and organizations to support our chapters and initiatives including chapter programs, events and education.


All donations are made to Free Mom Hugs, a national nonprofit organization, and may be used to support local, regional, or national programming.
