- Florida - Silver Pride Tea Dance
- Victoria Saladino
The Silver Pride Tea Dance will serve as Pensacola's Pride Month kickoff event and is designed to celebrate and support LGBTQ+ adults ages 50 and older, while welcoming allies and community members of all ages. Their goal is to create a fun, inclusive, and affirming afternoon that combines music, dancing, food, and meaningful connections with organizations that serve and support our community.
The event will feature live entertainment, refreshments, community engagement activities, and opportunities for attendees to learn about local organizations and services. We anticipate a diverse audience of community members, advocates, and supporters from throughout Escambia and Santa Rosa counties.

In Support of Free Mom Hugs
Free Mom Hugs is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that works to empower the world to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community through visibility, education and conversation. Born of one Oklahoma mom’s simple act of wearing a homemade Free Mom Hugs button to a Pride festival, today Free Mom Hugs has more than 50,000 volunteers, chapters in all 50 states, and affiliate chapters around the world.
Free Mom Hugs volunteers give hugs and go beyond the hug, too. Our volunteers give hugs at events and other gatherings and further support and affirm LGBTQIA+ individuals through public education and outreach. Free Mom Hugs actively partners with brands, companies and organizations to support our chapters and initiatives including chapter programs, events and education.
All donations are made to Free Mom Hugs, a national nonprofit organization, and may be used to support local, regional, or national programming.
