The Lowcountry Period Pixies (LPP) donates to over 100+ facilities in the Lowcountry monthly. LPP provides menstrual hygiene products to the unsheltered communities, shelters, resettled refugees, schools, free medical clinics, food banks, veterans groups, section 8 housing, and more.

LPP has been active since July 2018 and donates to all six area school districts (Berkeley County, Charleston County, Dorchester 2 & Dorchester 4, Colleton, and Beaufort), and over 100 local charities and organizations.

Invite a friend or three and bring your donations! We need individually pads, tampons, hygiene wipes, and liners.

In Support of Free Mom Hugs

Free Mom Hugs is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that works to empower the world to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community through visibility, education and conversation. Born of one Oklahoma mom’s simple act of wearing a homemade Free Mom Hugs button to a Pride festival, today Free Mom Hugs has more than 50,000 volunteers, chapters in all 50 states, and affiliate chapters around the world.

Free Mom Hugs volunteers give hugs and go beyond the hug, too. Our volunteers give hugs at events and other gatherings and further support and affirm LGBTQIA+ individuals through public education and outreach. Free Mom Hugs actively partners with brands, companies and organizations to support our chapters and initiatives including chapter programs, events and education.

All donations are made to Free Mom Hugs, a national nonprofit organization, and may be used to support local, regional, or national programming.
