🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️Pride Month is coming up in June, so let’s get off to a great start! We are going to have a booth at Oakland Park Pride on Friday 6/5/26 from 6pm - 10pm and we need volunteers. The event takes place at Jaco Pastorius Park located at 4000 N Dixie Highway, Oakland Park 33334.

In Support of Free Mom Hugs

Free Mom Hugs is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that works to empower the world to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community through visibility, education and conversation. Born of one Oklahoma mom’s simple act of wearing a homemade Free Mom Hugs button to a Pride festival, today Free Mom Hugs has more than 50,000 volunteers, chapters in all 50 states, and affiliate chapters around the world.


Free Mom Hugs volunteers give hugs and go beyond the hug, too. Our volunteers give hugs at events and other gatherings and further support and affirm LGBTQIA+ individuals through public education and outreach. Free Mom Hugs actively partners with brands, companies and organizations to support our chapters and initiatives including chapter programs, events and education.


All donations are made to Free Mom Hugs, a national nonprofit organization, and may be used to support local, regional, or national programming.
